I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge this benchmark in American history. On June 3rd 2008, Barack Obama secured the position as the first black democratic nominee in U.S. history. Obama speaks of hope, promise, & striving for the unification of the american people through the awareness of our differences . I am very excited for the times that we are in. However, in the back of my mind still lies the question of, are we as a people ready for a black president? My favorite hood activist, Mr. Escobar speaks on this question more in detail in this thought provoking yet very encouraging track titled " Black President" Check it Out....**RO**
