Entertainment Icon Antonio "L.A" Reid, and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds have teamed up once again to create an all-star tribute toward the fight and prevention of Cancer amongst all women. The proceeds from the event will go towards providing money to pioneer new modes of Cancer Research to work toward a cure for the life-threatening disease. Reid and Edmonds have also gathered some of the best artists (of all genres) to produce a single in support of the event entitled "Just Stand Up". On September 5th, ABC, CBS, and NBC, will have a commercial-free, one-hour broadcast of the groundbreaking performance, making this the first time that the major networks have done this as a fundraiser to fight against a disease.I don't know about you guys but, this makes me excited. I have plenty members in my fam whove passed because of Cancer, and finally the industry has decided to exercise some flippin' philanthropy (L.A Reid+Babyface+20 years since collabo=PARTY) !
